Futures Shiraz – the old and new
Our Pre-Release offer for our 2014 Futures Shiraz has prompted a few words from a long time drinker of the Futures Shiraz.
Hello James,
we received our carton of 2014 Futures early this week thank you. In putting them away in the cellar we thought we’d check on some of the older vintages. The oldest (and only) bottle of that vintage was a 1998. It had lost a bit of volume and colour, and the cork was sweating so we thought we should open it and see how it had fared. When it was first opened the fruit aromas filled the air so we were pretty confident it would be good. Our tasting notes are below:
