Colour: Pretty ruby red with a purple hue.
Nose: Mulberry and red cherry with touch of lavender / pot pourri and a light cedary oak lift.
Palate: Soft supple palate, medium weight with red and blue fruits with fresh, crisp acidity. Long flavours, almost a dark olive savoury finish.
Potential: This vintage has produced a wine worthy of medium term cellaring if you can.
Foods: Try Salmon with a wakame crust. Will pair well with Oysters, fresh or cooked
Technical: Bottled August 2022 under screwcap. Alcohol 14.2%, pH 3.31, TA 5.9
Vintage: 2021 was lauded by many as an outstanding vintage with long hang time and moderate yields.
