This is a full-figured wine that finds neat balance between its ripe fruit and subtle oak components, all the while delivering a lip-smacking meatiness and generosity that will warm the cockles (or do nicely with charred meats). It’s all dark fruits, nougat, cedar and choc-mintiness. The big frame squeezes stacks in. Nicely done.
