Tasting Note
Colour: Medium straw green with a ‘grey’ tint.
Nose: Nashi pear, lemon zest with a zingy muscat like note.
Palate: Fresh with medium weight fruit and balancing residual sweetness. Long and complex.
Potential: Drink now but short term cellaring will add richer ‘gris’ nuances.
Foods: Try with Oysters, sashimi or Thai beef salad. This wine seems to have an affinity for spice and chilli so try with your favourite Chinese, Thai or Mexican food.
Technical: Bottled August, 2023 under screw cap,
Alcohol 12.0%, pH 3.39 TA 5.85, RS 8g/L
