Colour: Deep cherry red. Nose: Fresh lifted mulberry / raspberry fruit and light spice / mocha aromatic is nicely weighted by very subtle oak.
Palate: Medium bodied with fresh, crisp acidity and nice length of fruit. Persistent finish with long fruity after taste.
Potential: This vintage has produced fruity wines that have medium term cellaring potential.
Foods: Steak, lamb roasts and hearty stews.
Technical: Alcohol: 14.0% , pH 3.59, TA 6.07 A mix of Langhorne Creek and McLaren Vale fruit.
Vintage: The 2016 vintage was excellent in all our regions with excellent ripeness and acidity.

Product Description

The name The Wishing Tree comes from childhood days. As children, we were convinced by our parents that if we made a wish under this beautiful old Oak tree, it would become true.

As I recall it did work on occasion!!

Sourced from premium regions around Adelaide South Australia our wines are full of sunshine, fruit flavours and that sense of place we wish for in winemaking.
